5 Signs of A Trustworthy Contractor

“I want to remodel my home! Where do we start?” As contractors we are responsible for making your home, your dream home.

We know first-hand the stress & worry that homeowners experience at the start of this journey. No one ever starts a home remodel expecting a disaster but we’ve all heard someone with a terrible experience.

There are 5 important qualities to look for while searching for your future contractor so that doesn't happen to you!

Experience- You’ll want to be sure you are well aware of the experience your contractor has under their belt before handling your project. Working with a local contractor will allow you to reach out to homeowners who’ve worked with them previously.

Licenses- Although not all states require contractors to be licensed it is still recommended that you go through the state to make sure your contractor reaches all requirements.

Good Rep- The best way to follow up with WOM recommendation is to check the Better Business Bureau website where you will find any complaints that may have been filed against your contractor.

Getting Your Money’s Worth- We are always looking for the best deals but it isn’t always the best idea to go with the contractor that has the lowest bid. In fact, having an unusually low bid means material and/or labor isn’t being quoted correctly.

Awesome Service- When it comes to your money you should hire someone who is going to take care of you. You should expect a high level of service meaning accessible to answer any questions and take time to explain anything that you may be unfamiliar with.
